Canaan Land Kennel Boarding Requirements
-NO SHOTS NO BOARDING
For the safety of your pet and other pets, we will not board any animals without full updated shot records. The following shots and treatments will need to have been given in order for boarding to take place.
Rabies
DHLPP
Bordatella - *must be given at least one week prior to boarding. This is to allow time for the vaccination to become effective.
De-worming - we understand most de-worming, other than most heartworm preventatives, is only administered every 6months to 1 year.
Flea & tick prevention
* We do require proof of vaccinations , we can accept a Fax from your Veterinarian, or a hard copy prior to boarding.
* Canaan Land Kennel does not board animals with behavior problems that are deemed a safety risk for staff, other boarding pets or itself.
* Puppies must be Four months of age and have completed the series of puppy vaccinations in order to board.
*Canaan Land Kennel CANNOT BOARD ANY FEMALE DOG IN HEAT .
*To decrease the stress and anxiety of current boarders, only Cannan Land Kennel staff are allowed in the boarding area. Upon drop-off, we ask that you wait with your pet until a staff member can escort them to their kennel. On the day of pick-up, please call and give us an estimated time of your arrival. A staff member will bring your pet to the pick-up area upon your arrival.
**Please note that some pets suffer from stress and anxiety. Limiting the numbed of people they encounter during their stay can reduce the risk of anxiousness for those borders.

$25.00 per pet .
We charge by the day - starting on arrival date and ends on pick up date.
Fees for Pickup Day:
Monday - Friday
Before or By 11 a.m. - There is no fee for the day
After 11 a.m. - You will be charged for the day.
Sunday Pick Up - Sundays Count as One Day. Pick up time is between 3p.m. & 5p.m.
They are not here to just be "watched"
I want your pet to enjoy their visit.
You can bring bedding, this way they will have familiar items from home to make their stay comfortable.
Bring their favorite toys for play time, and chew toys for down time while they are in the kennel.
We do have bowls for food and water, you do not need to bring these unless you would like to.
Do bring their food and feeding instructions.
I take them for walks and interact with them often throughout the day and treat them as though they was one of my own .
They are in the kennel only when I am not with them. They are not crated.

Your pet will be boarding indoors, unless taken for a walk.
*Pets are on a lead at all times unless in the kennel area.
